    • Post Doctoral Fellow

    Miao obtained her PhD from Virginia Tech in 2018. Then she moved to NYC with her family and worked in Dr. Yuefeng Huang’s lab from 2018-2020. She loves music and hiking. 

  • Janice Huang

    • Graduate Student (Master’s Level)

    Janice is a master’s student in biomedical engineering with interest in tissue engineering and experience in a broad area of molecular biology techniques. She has a BE in biomedical engineering from City College of New York, magna cum laude.

  • Vainavi Alva

    • Graduate Student (Master’s Level)

    Vainavi is a biomedical engineering masters student with an undergraduate degree in biotechnology engineering from Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore, India, (graduating in the top 1 percent of her class). She has an interest in tissue engineering and past experience in microbiology and molecular biology techniques.

  • Mateo Amezcua

    • Research Assistant

    Mateo is a research assistant and recent graduate from Middelbury College, with a BA in Neuroscience, magna cum laude.  He is an aspiring future physician.
