Program Information
In collaboration with the Integrative Therapies Program, Institute of Human Nutrition, The Naomi Barrie Diabetes Center at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and Integrative Health Global, we are excited to launch our Food as Medicine Program, designed to empower clinicians, patients, and families with practical tools to optimize health through whole-foods nutrition.
🌱 Taste & Learn: Enjoy samples of delicious, nutrient-rich foods with a spotlight on whole grains and vegetables.
👩⚕️ Expert Guidance: Speak directly with a dietitian about how these foods support wellness and can be easily included in everyday meals.
📲 Take Home Recipes: Access virtual recipe cards—available in English and Spanish—so you can recreate your favorite dishes at home.
By participating, families will gain confidence in choosing and preparing healthy foods that nourish the body and support long-term well-being.
