Healthy Monday for Healthcare Workers was a 24-week program designed to help faculty, trainees, and staff learn a variety of mind-body self-care techniques to manage stress, fight burnout, and improve their overall wellbeing.

Lerner Fellowship Scholars: Employee Wellness Studies
This fellowship is a department-wide initiative to cultivate interest in research and clinical support advancing wellness through pilot projects, expansion of existing projects, or new projects. Awards are based on novelty, need, merit, and advancement of employee wellness.
CALM-PT: Cultivating a Lifetime of Mindfulness for Pediatric Trainees
PI: Danielle Ahn, MD (Associate Professor of Pediatrics)
Objectives:
- To improve trainess wellness through increasing an understanding of mindfulness and decreasing secondary traumatic stress and burnout
- To provide mindfulness tools that can be used at bedside and in clinical practice

The HEROES Room: Healthy Environment to Recharge and Optimize Energy and Spirit
PI: Sivan Kinberg, MD (Assistant Professor of Pediatrics)
Objective:
- To provide a recharge room with a restorative environment to reduce stress and mental fatigue and increase employee productivity and well-being for the Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, & Nutrition Division

- Rating of element features of the HEROES Room

Resident Education in Sleep Techniques (REST)
This 12-week program was designed to help residents improve sleep with a specialized set of sleep techniques that they can practice at their leisure throughout the week.

DeStress Monday
Ways to start each Monday with a positive attitude and a more relaxed body, to help reduce stress throughout the rest of the week. We provide tools to help you become more mindful, positive, and balanced. After all, you can never have too little stress.
Meatless Monday
A global movement with a simple message: cut out meat one day a week. Meatless Monday’s goal is to reduce meat consumption by 15%, which is good for you and good for the planet. Meatless Monday is now embraced in more than 40 countries.

Encourages people of all fitness levels to kick off the week with physical activity. We provide simple workouts, tips, and inspiration. The program considers all abilities and fitness levels. Whether you’re just getting started or are already a workout pro, Move It Monday has something for you.
