POWER Wednesday Wellness

Wednesday Wellness offers additional evidence-based self-care practices for staff and faculty via ZOOM. When the pandemic hit we all felt the physical and emotional effects. The Integrative Therapies team reached out to the department’s POWER team, and launched the POWER Wednesday Wellness Series as a virtual self-care outlet for staff and faculty working remotely or on site. Sessions include 15 minutes of deep breathing, dance, yoga, mindful eating, and more.

We don't always make time for self-care. Setting aside time for a reset, even if it's just once a week, can be surprisingly beneficial and are easy to do on the go.
