Gail D Gutman, MD

Gail Gutman, MD, is a Professor of Pediatrics at Columbia University Medical Center specializing in Adolescent Medicine. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at Jacobi Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine and her fellowship in Adolescent Medicine at Cohen Children’s Medical Center/Northwell Health.

Dr. Gutman is board-certified in General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. Her clinical expertise includes eating disorders, pediatric reproductive and gynecologic health, and primary care for adolescents and young adults. She has authored several publications related to adolescent health and has delivered national and local lectures on the management of patients with eating disorders. She is especially passionate about providing comprehensive, compassionate care during adolescence and young adulthood, a unique period of development that can be both vulnerable and exciting. She values the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients during this important stage of life and to support them as they develop greater independence and a sense of their own health and well-being.
