Overview
I am Dr. David A. Crowe, a board-certified pediatric cardiologist with more than 25 years of experience caring for infants, children, adolescents, and expectant families. Since 2002, I have served as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Columbia University Irving Medical Center while maintaining a private pediatric cardiology practice in Mount Kisco, New York.
My clinical work includes inpatient and outpatient pediatric cardiology consultations, fetal echocardiography, prenatal management of congenital heart disease, and the evaluation and management of fetal arrhythmias. I also contribute to medical education as a ward attending on the neonatal and pediatric intensive care services at Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
I earned my medical degree from New York Medical College, where I received the Lewis J. Slobody Award for Excellence in Pediatrics. I completed my internship and residency in general pediatrics at New York Hospital–Cornell Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Babies Hospital–Columbia Presbyterian Hospital Center.
I am licensed to practice medicine in New York and Connecticut and am board-certified in pediatric cardiology. Before joining Columbia, I served as a pediatric cardiologist and attending physician at Brooklyn Hospital.
In addition to patient care and teaching, I have contributed to publications addressing fetal pulmonary venous flow and left ventricular outflow obstructive lesions. I am also a member of the American Society of Echocardiography. My goal is to provide knowledgeable, compassionate, and family-centered cardiac care at every stage of a child’s development.
