POWER Pony Therapies

POWER collaborated with a member of the Children’s Board and director of Pony POWER therapies farm in New Jersey. Residents, faculty and staff went on a mini-retreat supported by POWER and the Department to provide a change of scenery, chock full of nature and relaxation. Engaging in mindful exercises with the horses, reminded our group of just how transformative grounding energy can be. The big take-away was how our interaction with each other and the horses mirror the patient-practitioner dynamic. The experience built team morale, was rejuvenating, and fun!
